Jeff’s career is centered on advising closely held businesses from a CEO’s point of view. He has successfully helped clients in general business direction, tax advice, and in running a company. His various expertise include taxation, audit and accounting, business management, not-for-profit, and family business.
Jeff received his Bachelor’s in Business Administration from the State University of New York at Buffalo and his Bachelor’s of Science in Economics from the State University of New York, College at New Paltz. He also attended Baruch College for post-graduate studies in Taxation. Jeff is licensed in the State of New York and has lectured for the Foundation of Accounting Education and at Purdue University.
Jeff has also written numerous articles on aviation tax related topics. He is an avid aviator and a certified flight instructor. Jeff is a member of the Board of Directors and Treasurer of the National Association of Flight Instructors.
Prior to merging into the firm in 2006, Jeff was the managing partner for Gilbert & Levy, LLP. His public accounting experience began in 1973, which included staff positions with large public accounting firms. He was also an executive vice president and controller of a major importing company.
