Michael is the firm’s senior tax partner and provides tax advice, income tax planning, estate planning, and corporate structure services to his clients. He has extensive experience in audits, both of public and private companies, and taxation.
Michael received his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Lehigh University and earned his Masters of Mechanical Engineering from The City University of New York and his Masters Business Administration from Pace University. He is licensed in the state of New York.
Michael lectures frequently on the taxation of partnerships, estates and trusts at seminars. He has been quoted and interviewed for various industry related articles.
Prior to joining Janover in 1969, Michael practiced engineering in the aerospace industry and as a consultant. His background in engineering has given him the expertise to perform costs segregation studies requiring extensive knowledge of real property, construction, and tax law.
Michael is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants as well as the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.
