As a managing director of JRS Financial Services, Marc provides contract financial management services to emerging firms and financial service organizations. His broad range of services includes financial statement preparation, regulatory reporting, projections & forecasts as well as complete tax planning and return preparation. Marc also assists clients in locating merger or acquisition partners.
Mark received his Bachelors of Business Administration from Bernard Baruch School of Business Administration of the City University of New York. He is registered with the National Association of Securities Dealers, Inc. as a Financial and Operations Principal (Series 27) as well as having completed the Uniform Securities Agent State Law Examination. He is also a member of the Financial Management and Operations Divisions of the Securities Industry Association and has been invited by the National Association of Securities Dealers Regulation, Inc. to be a speaker at various NASD sponsored seminars. He also has been published for a Bear, Stearns Securities Corp. publication.
Prior to forming JRS, (the successor firm to Stoltz & Company which began operations in 1988), Marc held various senior financial positions within the financial services industry. He began his career in 1969 with Price Waterhouse in New York. Since starting JRS, Marc has provided consulting services to a variety of firms in the securities industry including those engaged in market making activities.
Marc is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, where he served as Chairman of the Stockbrokerage Accounting Committee from 1993 to 1996. He continues to Chair the Broker Dealer conference sponsored by the Committee. He also served on the Accounting and Auditing committee and was formerly chairman of the committee, Cooperation with Investment Bankers and Stock Exchanges.
