Jay has been spotlighted in articles and interviews for his expertise in financial services. For instance, he was quoted in U.S. News and World Report which discusses how to help teenagers build credit responsibly. Additionally, when the Dow Jones took a 1,000 point plummet due to a clerical error in 2010, Jay was at the forefront, holding down the financial fort for his clients and assuring them that their retirement plans were intact.
Jay received his Masters in Finance from NYU and graduated from SUNY Albany. Previously, Jay was a financial consultant at Shearson Lehman and he began his career at Deloitte & Touche. He spends his career advising high net worth individuals, closely held businesses, as well as family businesses. He also coordinates the various tax, accounting, growth and lack of liquidity aspects that such entities face. Jay has worked with medical professionals, constructors and real estate. He has successfully steered several clients through the complicated and life-changing process of selling their business. Jay also manages the financial planning for the firm’s clients.
