Janover LLC is proud to announce that Dominic Rovano, CPA, CGMA and Jason Hoffman, CPA, have been recognized by the New York State Society of CPAs (NYSSCPA) as Forty Under 40 honorees for 2020 – the inaugural year for this award.
The NYSSCPA selected honorees for this award after a rigorous nomination and vetting process. Honorees that were selected met the following criteria: they are active at the NYSSCPA, they are less than 40 years old (as of Dec. 1, 2019), and they possess notable skills and are visibly making a difference in the accounting profession. This award will be given out at the NYSSCPAs NextGen (virtual) Conference on Wednesday, July 29, 2020.
Dominic Rovano is the Co-Partner in Charge of Janover’s New York City office, and a member of the management and executive committees at the firm. He works primarily with privately-held businesses across multiple industries, helping them to satisfy their financial reporting requirements successfully by providing assurance, tax, and other advisory services. Dominic is currently serving as the Chair of the NYSSCPA CFO Committee and is a past chair of the NYSSCPA Employee Benefits Committee for which he received the NYSSCPA’s 2019 Outstanding State-Wide Committee Chair Award in recognition for his work on this committee. Additionally, Dominic is on the Board of Governors for the Accountants Club of America.
Jason Hoffman is a Principal at Janover and is a leader of the firm’s Cannabis Practice Group and is an integral member of the Real Estate Practice Group. He advises his clients on complex tax matters, corporate structuring, M&A consulting and due diligence, real estate and REIT’s, family office and investment funds, cannabis and Section 280E compliance. Jason currently serves as the Chair of the Real Estate Committee for the New York State Society of CPAs.
