Keeping up with technology is hard enough; staying ahead of the curve requires constant work, and Janover is fully committed to that, according to Accounting Today, which recently named Janover to its 2021 list of the Best Firms for Technology.
“Our approach is to never subscribe to a status quo,” Janover CIO Steven Hart told Accounting Today. “Today’s success can be tomorrow’s deficiency, and so we are working to adopt a culture within technology that places service over everything else.”
For the past several years, the firm has been moving away from the traditional CPA firm footprint, with nearly all of its software becoming cloud-based to achieve the overarching goal to be accessible and efficient regardless of location. Key to supporting that effort is the 40-60 hours of technology training each Janover employee receives annually – the highest average of continuing education among the top firms on the 2021 list.
“Our commitment to be a tech-forward firm started well before the COVID-19 pandemic forced technology to the forefront to support our clients – and our team members – in an ever-growing remote environment,” said Mark Goodman, Janover’s managing partner. “This accomplishment is a testament to the strategic plan our team has put in place and to the hard work of our talented staff to provide excellent client service anywhere at anytime to meet the modern needs of our community.”
