Janover LLC congratulates partner Dominic Rovano, CPA, CGMA, for receiving the 2019 Outstanding State-Wide Committee Chair Award in recognition for his work on the Employee Benefits Committee. This award was given to Mr. Rovano at the New York State Society of CPAs (NYSSCPA) installation dinner of the incoming Board Officers and Members. The event, Celebrating the Past, Embracing the Future, was held on May 29, 2019, at the University Club in New York City.
Mr. Rovano, a resident of Westchester, works primarily with privately held businesses across multiple industries, helping them to satisfy their financial reporting requirements successfully by providing assurance, tax and advisory services. At Janover, Mr. Rovano is Chair of the firm’s Employee Benefit Plan Industry Group, a member of the Construction Committee and the Co-Chair of the Technology Committee.
Mr. Rovano is the incoming Chair of the CFO Committee of the NYSSCPA and is an active member of the NYSSCPA-Westchester Chapter. Mr. Rovano is active in his community and serves in an advisory role to the Audit Committee of Solutions Journalism Network, a non-profit organization working to legitimize and spread the practice of reporting on responses to social problems.
