Ashraf Orabi, CPA is a Principal at Janover with over 20 years of public accounting experience, focused exclusively in the real estate industry. As a member of the firm’s real estate industry group, Ashraf’s services include tax consulting and compliance in various real estate aspects. A specialist in real estate taxation, Ashraf works with real estate owners and operators, real estate funds, Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs), and contractors.
Prior to joining Janover, Ashraf worked as a Senior Director for a global business advisory firm where he spent most of his time working on REIT compliance issues and real estate partnership related issues, and with several notable clients.
Ashraf received his bachelor’s degree in business administration from New Jersey City University and he also received his Master of Studies in Law in Taxation from New York University School of Law. A New York State licensed CPA, Ashraf is a member of the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA), as well as the New York Society of CPAs (NYSSCPA).
In his free time, Ashraf enjoys playing tennis and soccer.
