Marsha Ellowitz’s bailiwick is the management of large and complex assignments, especially those involving high net worth families. She adeptly develops the sophisticated tax planning and investment strategies that these families require, and she handles engagements that can involve multiple generations and dozens of individual, trust, partnership or LLC tax returns. In addition to supervising the preparation and production of tax returns and routine compliance work for her clients, she regularly represents them in audit examinations at the federal, state and local levels.

A true “people person,” Marsha is happiest working with her clients on a one to one basis. Clients value her personal attention, eye for detail and ability to move calmly and skillfully through any business or investment challenge. Colleagues, too, appreciate her ready willingness to listen and share expertise.

Marsha is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the New York State Society of CPAs. She began her career at Price Waterhouse & Co. before joining Feldman Radin & Co., where she had been a student intern. She transferred from her role as Feldman Radin’s audit manager to the firm’s tax department before becoming its first female partner in 1991. She was a founding member of Radin, Glass & Co., LLP, joining her colleagues there for a move to Janover LLC in January of 2015. She received her Master of Science degree in Taxation and her Bachelor of Science degree in Public Accounting from Pace University.

Marsha lives in Manhattan with her husband, Jim. She has served as the treasurer of a 310-unit Manhattan co-op for ten years, is an avid knitter, lover of jazz and devotee of mystery novels and, oddly enough, enjoys watching golf on TV.
