Richard Bader, CPASenior Manager
Richard Bader is a Senior Manager and a member of the firm’s Estate and Gift Tax Planning and Wealth Advisory practices at Janover LLC. He is a trusted advisor to a broad range of individuals and families and has extensive experience specializing in income and estate tax planning and compliance for family offices, closely held businesses, and their owners.
Rich is the go-to person to advise clients on complex estate and gift tax matters including multi-generational wealth transfer and succession planning along with post mortem tax planning. In addition, he collaborates with clients’ other professional advisors during the planning process to make sure the estate plan gets implemented and monitored properly. He has given in-house seminars discussing the use of trusts and different techniques used in gift and estate planning along with fiduciary income taxation.
Rich earned his BS in accounting from the University of Delaware and received a Master’s of Science in taxation from American University. He is the Chair of the Trust and Estate Administration Committee of the New York State Society of CPAs and serves on the board of the Estate Planning Council of NYC. He is also a member of the Young Benefactors group of the First Tee of New York and the Personal Financial Planning and the Estate Planning Committees of the New York State Society of CPAs.
