Stephen J. Blaney is a principal in our Garden City office and has over 35 years of public accounting experience.
Throughout his career, Stephen has been a trusted advisor to his clients, assisting them in creating and implementing creative tax strategies, securing financing, mergers and acquisitions, business succession, business advisory services, family office services, wealth preservation and advising them on a wide spectrum of complex transactions including tax restructuring and sophisticated tax-free exchanges.
Stephen’s clients include a diverse range of industries from rapidly-growing closely held businesses to long-established organizations including those in the construction, real estate, retail, professional and variety of others including high net worth individuals and family groups.
Stephen is a member of the American Institute of CPA’s, the Irish Business Organization of New York, Young Real Estate Professionals of New York and has served on the executive boards of NSLL and was executive director of NPMYAC. In addition Stephen is a member of the firm’s client accounting services, family office and business management committees and represents the firm in the Garden City Chamber of Commerce.
He received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting with cum laude honors from Dowling College.
When not in the office, Stephen enjoys boating on Long Island, travel and spending time with his wife and three grown children.
