The Janover LLC family is proud to recognize David Rosenzweig, the managing partner of the firm’s New York City office and who is responsible for its operations.
He provides personal service, compliance, financial and business management services to a range of clients in several industries, with an emphasis in the entertainment business. His clients also include not-for-profit arts organizations, and he serves as accountant and advisor to many businesses.
David earned a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Economics from Hunter College, CUNY and a Master’s of Business Administration degree from Baruch College, CUNY. He is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York.
David has appeared on television news and has written articles for Billboard Magazine on taxation of entertainers, and FYI, a national arts publication, on accounting for not-for-profit organizations. He has been quoted, interviewed and referenced in several publications such as Theater Week, the New York Daily News and The Wall Street Journal. He was a guest speaker at an Internal Revenue Service national conference on entertainment and sports.
Professionally, David has served on several committees of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, including the Local Practitioners Committee and the General Committee on Accounting and Auditing. He is a past chairman of the Society’s Large and Medium Size Firms Practice Management Committee as well as the Entertainment and Sports Committee. He has also served as Director and Treasurer of The Alliance of New York State’s Arts Organizations and Arts Action Alliance. Currently, he is a member of the Board of Governors of the Accounting Club of America and is treasurer and board member of New Dramatists.
