Mark Solomon’s practice focuses on servicing and advising businesses and high net worth individuals and families in tax planning and accounting. Working closely with his clients, often over many years, Mark also guides them with business succession planning and represents them in audit situations. He works with several large real estate family offices handling their transactional business, financial reporting and tax compliance. He is one of Janover LLC’s experts in New York City real estate tax certiorari report preparation and auditing. He also leads the firm’s Mentoring Program for the New York City office and is deeply committed to helping with continued firm growth and development.
He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the New York State Society of CPAs, serving on the NYSSCPA New York City Real Estate Committee. In public accounting practice for more than 25 years, he was a partner at Gilbert & Levy, LLP before joining Janover LLC in 2006. He received his Bachelors of Arts degree from Long Island University, C. W. Post.
Mark is married with three children. He and his wife live in Smithtown, New York.
