Roberto J. Araujo, CPA is a Senior Tax Manager at Janover with more than 15 years of tax and accounting experience. His practice encompasses many facets of federal, state and local income taxation, with an emphasis on high net worth individuals, corporate and partnership income tax compliance and planning for myriad industries including private equity, real estate, professional services, legal and manufacturing/distribution.
Before joining Janover, Roberto worked in a similar capacity at several Top 100 accounting firms where his experience included high net worth individuals, trusts and estates, nonprofits and companies with complex tax issues. He also has mentored staff and served as a firm speaker on tax issues and training programs.
Roberto earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Science in Taxation from Long Island University. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) and the New York State Society of CPAs. Outside of work, Roberto enjoys playing and watching sports, traveling and spending time with family.
